We’re hosting a free, higher education networking evening at King’s College London, next Thursday (6th December). Join us for drinks, nibbles, networking, and the chance to hear from Tracy Playle, CEO of Pickle Jar Communications, speaking about ‘Empathy mapping in content strategy’, and Sussex’s student content creators, the Digital Gurus. If this sounds like it’s up your street then please sign up here. We’d love to see you there!
And thus there was another one! We’re delighted to welcome Thamasha De Silva to Team Tap, as our new University Partnerships Executive. Before joining Tap, Thamasha studied Natural Sciences at UCL, where she also worked for the Widening Participation and Comms and Marketing Teams as a student member of staff. Thamasha will be responsible for partnerships with HEIs in London and across the UK. We asked her if she had any weird and wonderful skills. She said ‘no’, and then proceeded to demonstrate that she could do a triple tongue roll. Thamasha, welcome to the team: you’ll fit in well!
We’ve been busy fiddling with our gizmos and have added a search function to our Answers widget. This means that, as well being able to submit questions, prospective applicants will now be able to search previous answers written by student ambassadors. Our improved Answers widget means that you can now host interactive, student-generated Q&A on your university website with the addition of a few simple lines of code.
